Según informa el medio Famitsu, Namco ha anunciado un contenido descargable gratuíto para Tekken Tag Tournament 2. Llegará el próximo mes y nos ofrecerá tres nuevos personajes que se unen al elenco inicial de luchadores, además de cuatro nuevos escenarios para luchar. Las nuevas localizaciones serán Russia, Chile, Arabia Saudi y el llamado Magic Show.

En lo referente a personajes, recibiremos a tres personajes de los viejos conocidos que ha anunciado Namco, y que irán llegando paulatinamente. Personajes míticos como el Doctor Boskonovitch (Tekken 3), Violet (Tekken 4), Sebastian (Tekken 5), Slim Bob (Tekken 6), Miharu (Tekken 4) y Unknown (Tekken Tag Tournament) irán lanzándose en diversos DLC, y tres de ellos llegarán de forma gratuíta en octubre.
Este primer DLC llegará a Xbox 360 y PlayStation 3 el 9 de octubre. Se espera que se incluya de lanzamiento en la versión de WiiU del videojuego.
