A Cross Media Bar for the Dingoo A320

INTRODUCTION

`DinguXMB' is an alternative launcher for the Dingoo run Dingux.
It has the same visual layout as the Sony Cross Media Bar.

DinguXMB is a port of the original GP2XMB.

ORIGINAL NOTES

GP2XMB is currently under heavy development and you are encouraged to try
out the latest version and come with new suggestions and patches to improve
the quality of the software.

The following features should be included in GP2XMB in the future:

- Game Launcher (Divided into a shortcut lanucher and a browser)
- Photo Viewer (Close to finished, only minor things and bugs left)
- Music Player (A simple Vorbis player, libmad support in the future)
- Video Player (Pre-design, Currently uses the internal player)
- Settings Menu (Various settings implemented)

INSTALLATION

Installing DinguXMB is fairly straight forward.

- Unpack the binary release to a directory ie. /usr/local/dinguxmb
- Copy the 'main' script to /usr/local/sbin. The 'main' script assumes
that you have installed to /usr/local/dinguxmb. Edit it if necessary.
- The executable is dynamically compiled. You need the latest rootfs.


To run, start your Dingoo (with Dingux).

Yo lo estoy intentando pero no me arranca. En el readme dice:

He quitado la carpeta dmenu, he puesto dinguxmb en la carpeta local y el archivo main en la carpeta sbin.

Me pone "main: applet not found"

yo estoy igual le estoy dando vueltas al main a ver si alguien nos ilumina :D

yo ya lo he probado.

Recordad que para que funcione, debeis meter la ultima version del filesystem de booboo, el root y el zimage mas actuales.

La verdad esque como alternativa, es interesante. Pero me parece mucho mas comodo y efectivo el dmenu.

Por cierto. Si quereis probarlo, no es necesario que borreis el dmenu ni nada. Unicamente quitad el archivo main de la carpeta local/sbin y guardarlo. Si luego no os gusta este menu, unicamente debereis volver a poner el main anterior.

cierto, eso yo tambien lo cambié. ademas por si las moscas le añadi la linea:

export HOME=/usr/local/home

A mi me gusta, aunque esperaré a ver las póximas versiones para dejarlo puesto.

Esta bien, a mi me gusta sobre todo el sonido al moverte por el menu pero esto esta muy verde por lo menos lo que es a mi solo me funciona el mame y el picodrive. Luego cuando le doy al reproductor de video se resetea el menu y no e encontrado la manera de apagarlo porque cuando le doy a original frontend se resetea el menu tambien.

No se que menu sera el que se imponga pero este demomento para ser la primera version viene con bastantes opciones
