...O al menos, es lo que mi oxidado inglés de las 3AM es lo que ha entendido.
Andaba navegando buscando info de cómo acceder al level select del Sonic Megamix v3 (si alguien lo sabe, ruego me lo diga) cuando fui a dar con mis huesos con la web oficial, y en su portada me encuentro esto con fecha del 15 de mayo:
After several project leaders and restructuring attempts, the fan-game Project: Sonic Retro has been terminated by site staff.
The group had been given an ultimatum by forum administrators Tweaker and Scarred Sun to have a cohesive plan for the project as well as a new project leader by 10:00 a.m. CST on May 15 or face losing support from Sonic Retro.
The group had been given the ultimatum to have a plan for the project after weeks of no clear idea on where the project was moving after former project leader Chimpo left the group out of frustration. The group failed to provide such a plan by the deadline.
“Please note that any attempts to resurrect the project after this announcement will be stopped,” said Scarred Sun, “and any advertisement of an offsite version is prohibited.”
It is unclear as of now whether the project will be reaccepted if the team can restructure and create a playable demo of the proposed project.

Parece ser que el abandono por frustración del lider ha decaido en una crisis que ha llevado al equipo el plantearse una retirada estrategica, al no conseguir llevar a cabo una agenda de trabajo.
Esto nos afecta así: ya no habrá más actualizaciones del Sonic Megamix (que parece que había llegado a la 3.5 para megaCD), uno de los mejores mods del Sonic1 de MD, y lo que es peor, el Sonic 2 HD se quedaría en el limbo.
Decidme que esto es una pesadilla, que he leido mal y seré feliz.
