Ver la versión completa : Do you really need zip support ?
Hola,
Slow in character selection/download (be patient!)
but it's the first version with zip support !
(keep it private to this forum for the moment)
Put zip file in folder GPMM\KOF91\SPRITES
Always compatible with old character folders.
be careful : zip filename must be the same than the folder it contains. For example : evilryu.zip contains folder "evilryu"
if not, it can reset/crash gp32 or just ignore character.

I can't try it now becose i've to study, but when I could try it I'll tell you what I think about it!!:D
Once again: Thank you!!;)
WOW, thnx!
just one question, the zip support afects at the speed of the game? the loadings? what?
the speed of the game is the same that in the last version. but, the time of loading, is a little bit larger than before.
thank you another time, rtb 7
one question, i do my owns characters, but i have a problem, in the pc version they looks very well, but when i try it in the gp32, there is some colors that disapear, an part of the character is transparet.
is this due to the 24 bits of color pallete?
in gp32 must be in 8 bits?
yes, characters are limited to 255 colors + transparency.
Sorry (but it needs memory)
All colors > 256 are transformed to transparency.

KOF91 1.2 beta
same as yesterday with sound fixes and faster zip.
Don't forget rules on zip :
zip file name must be the same than the directory it contains (if it contains a directory, as it's not mandatory).
zip file name must be the same than the character section in char.ini file.
Have fun (and get back your SMC megabytes).
Thor
You never take a rest?!?! Wonderfull!:D (more fighters, loading faster je,je,je!!)

"Don't forget rules on zip :

"be careful : zip filename must be the same than the folder it contains. For example : evilryu.zip contains folder "evilryu"

How to do zip ?
example: hulk
hulk.zip contains hulk/*.* but not sprites/hulk/*.*
i.e.:
hulk/static1.pcx
...
hulk/char.ini
ok ?
and char.ini contains a section called:
[hulk]
Then, you put "hulk.zip" in the GPMM\KOF91\SPRITES folder of your GP.
I hope it is clear.
Thor
GP32Spain private friday's version ;)
Better loadings management (story mode players will be happy)
New feature to fix bacground for characters :
put a file called bkgd.ini in the SPRITES folder, put associations like this : <character> = <background>
example:
ryu = cfbk2.pcx
cken = cfbk5.pcx
v1.2 final + sources next monday.
Have fun
Thor
Yeeeeeeeeeee. Thank you very much!
