NOTICE: PROGRAM HIGHLY DANGEROUS
DO NOT USE IN CASE OF DOUBT
This program installs the firmware alternative Open2x RC4 for the GP2X F100. You install this firmware at your own risk.

The firmware has the following characteristics:
GMenu2x integrated.
Charging time less compared with the official firmware.
You can force the volume.
Insurance install.
Can be installed on all firmware (only in F100).
You can return to official firmware without any problem.
There is no need reflashing the bootloader.
You can dynamically linking the programs.
It contains the most common libraries today.
System call kexec integrated into the kernel
Many more improvements.
As yet it is not the final version of the firmware has some flaws:
The integrated music player with MP3 fault. Use another.
The menu video player becomes a bit crazy after seeing a video, although not very frequent.
The application compatibility is very high, but not everything works. It can be used to force compatibility compat, but if it does not work well, it does not. Even so, made a look here.
VA times the sound disappears. Click X in GMenu2x and look to change the icon at the bottom right.
The installation process is tedious but straightforward if you follow the steps one by one.
1 .- First download this: http://x11.gp2x.de/open2x/Open2x-DR4-F100R2.zip It is the firmware itself.
2 .- Unzip the file before you download and then do the following:
Copy the contents of the folder ON_SD (not the folder) to the root of an SD card formatted in FAT32 using a PC.
Inserting the card in the SD GP2X
Turns the GP2X while holding down SELECT + START
After the screen that says "Upgrading firmware" you have to press any key when necessary.
Wait until the installation is complete. The installation is done in two phases: Formatting NAND Copying and firmware.
When you ask the installer (appears on the screen) turns off the console.
Restart the console by pressing SELECT + START
Wait until the firmware is updated.
When on-screen display "Loading userspace" the process stops.
Wait 10 seconds.
Turn off the console.
3 .- You have successfully installed the firmware. But the work is not over yet. We need to patch.
Download this: http://x11.gp2x.de/open2x/patches/dr4/DR4R2-Patch1.zip
Unpack.
Copy all the files in the root of the SD card using a PC.
Put the SD card into the GP2X.
Turns the GP2X while pressing SELECT + START
