Tyrian is a famous shoot 'em up for DOS. OpenTyrian is a SDL-based open-source reimplementation of the Tyrian engine (check here :
http://code.google.com/p/opentyrian/)
OpenTyrian2x is the OpenTyrian engine for GP2x.
You stil need the original Tyrian files ! Get Tyrian 2.1 here, for instance : http://it.travisbsd.org/foo/tyrian/tyrian21.zip
OpenTyrian team is working hard on the project. This revision includes many updates !
- Daid's patch for game save
- Squidge's MMUHack with PicoDrive module
- Paeryn's Hardware SDL
- Ram tweaks set from opentyrian2x.gpe -->> you can change the tweak settings if you like !
