Nuevo emu de Megadrive!!!

Great news for all Sonic fanboys ;) Reesy released his own Sega Genesis emulator called Drmd. Here is short info from author:

[..] it's still in the very early stages of development but you can now play games on it so I thought I'd release a version so you can see how its progressing.

I'll still haven't been able to get hold of Rob Brown so this version has not got the amazing FM sound core from Fgen. But instead just to give you an idea, I've used the sound core from Gigadrive. DrMD also has PSG support.

You'll find 3 versions in the zip file, they are all clocked at different speeds 133,156 and 166.

The main addition to this genesis emulator is my Z80 core ( DrZ80 ), so you should notice more sound in games. I've noticed that the sound is quite slow in games at the moment ( sonic 2 for instance ) I think its to do with interupts, but hey its early days.

Es una versión temprana pero promete (Voy a probarla).
Con este ya son 4 emus de Megadrive :)

I'm going to help Ryleh add DrZ80 to his emulator when I get my sticky hands on the source code that is. He's going to send it to me when he gets his broadband sorted out.

Retiro lo dicho el emu funciona de **** madre, pero no se pueden usar zips ;)

Pues así por encima me funcionan muy decentemente a 156 Mhz juegos como:

Sonic_and_Knuckles_&_Sonic_2_(JUE)

Fun_Car_Rally_(JUE)

Ghouls_'N_Ghosts_(REV_01)_(JUE)_[!]

Y por ejemplo el Flashback o el Spirou funcionan perfectamente pero con problemas de desplazamiento en la pantalla.


Sinceramente este puede ser el emu de megadrive definitivo!!

Taba metiendo las roms comprimidas :D


-El Soleil en Castellano me suelta este mensaje:
"Developed for use only with Pal and French Secam Megadrive Systems".

-El Altered Beast va a full speed, pero arranca la partida a 2 jugadores (El sonido es como en el Gigadrive).


Evidentemente es una beta muy preliminar (Ya mejorará).

por ahora he probado dos roms, con el soleil me sale lo mismo que a DreamerXL (con las ganas que tengo de jugar a este juego con sonido) y el sonic 2 funciona bastante decentemente, usando la version a 156mhz

este tio es el del drsms de game boy advanced? me cagondios, si consiguió un emu perfecto para gba, no kiero saber ke podra conseguir para gp32...
