Desde la web Unseen64, que se dedica a recopilar imágenes y datos de videojuegos que no han visto la luz, nos deleitan con imágenes nunca vistas de uno de los títulos más divertidos que pudimos disfrutar en Wii, 'Mario Strikers Charged Football (http://blogocio.net/mario-strikers-charged-football/)'.
El título en un principio iba a denominarse simplemente 'Mario Strikers 2', y hoy descubrimos conceptos artísticos con los que Next Level Games comenzó a diseñar el juego. Algunas de las imágenes, como la que encabeza la noticia, sugieren una mayor oscuridad y espectacularidad en el ambiente que lo que vimos en el producto final.
La compañía diseñó unos "lanzadores de pelota" para poner el partido en marcha, lo que se descartó a favor de una carrera mano a mano entre los capitanes. También podemos ver unas máquinas que se usarían para lanzar muchos balones a los jugadores en los tiros especiales.
El balón de metal iba a tener hasta doce estados diferentes, finalmente se adoptó algo más sencillo. También podemos observar otras ideas descartadas, como una pantalla de selección de jugadores diferente, un estadio en una ciudad futurista o en una nave espacial.
Muchos de los conceptos descartados parecen muy interesantes, ¿te gustaría que Nintendo y Next Level Games lo retomasen para una posible versión de 'Mario Strikers' para Wii U'?, un juego con diversión directa y espectacularidad en pantalla como éste podría sentarle estupendamente a su catálogo.
