Tanto dinero ha vuelto loquísimos a los chinos, que han pasado del comunismo y la represión a abrazar ideas tan occidentales como los parques temáticos, y World Joyland es un brutal ejemplo de ello. Todavía no se han desarrollado en él actividades que le recuerden a uno lo que es jugar a World of Warcraft o Starcraft, pero la propuesta general es casi más cautivadora: fusionar la realidad con los mundos virtuales que recorremos online.
El mamotreto está en Changzhou, en la provincia de Jiangsu, y costó más de 30 millones de dólares construirlo en un área de 600.000 metros cuadrados divididos en siete zonas distintas.
