Virtua Racing Emulated, SVP has been emulated

While not entirely related to GP2X, (not yet playable there), but it's here:

For those who have no clue, this is Genesis/MD (NOT 32X) version of Virtua Racing, a game which had a cartridge with previously unemulated SVP chip.

The GP2X runs this at ~17 fps, ~ 1/4 of speed, frameskip has no effect, entirely unplayable. But with some extensive work, it might be possible to emulate this on GP2X with reasonable speed.

The question is, would YOU play this on your GP2X?

Well, I have some good news about this.
I've got my dynarec working, and VR is running near fullspeed, jumps around 50-65 fps, this is @ 240MHz and without sound. The dynarec is not fully completed, it does lookups when jumping between blocks (this can be removed) and doesn't generate code as good as it could, so there is some space for improvement. Also, I'm going to use HLE for the inner loops, so I have hopes to get it running fullspeed with sound with a bit of overclock.

De momento lo tiene funcionando en la GP2X a 240 mhz sin sonido pero a 50-65 frames por segundo O_o Y encima dice que ses muyu posible mejorarlo y hacerlo funcionar a tope con sonido y todo

lol!!!! que jefe, es el juego que quedaba por emular xD

Supongo que estara usando el 2º core? no creo que necesite emular el megacd en el segundo cuando tira del SVP

En definitiva, es un crack!!!

Y yo comiendome el tarro pasando el CRTC del CPC al segundo core, que mareo.... como para no saber valorar su trabajo y logros!!!!
